How to Take PCM 150mg Injection

PCM 150mg Injection is administered by a doctor or nurse either as an intravenous infusion (over 15 minutes) or as a deep intramuscular injection. The dosage depends on body weight and severity, usually 500mg to 1000mg every 4–6 hours, not exceeding 4 grams per day in adults. For children, dosing is weight-based.

• It is given with the patient lying down and under close monitoring.
• The IV route is preferred for faster onset; undiluted solution should not be injected as a bolus.
• Treatment duration is generally short (2–3 days); consult the doctor if pain or fever persists.

Missed Dose & Overdose
